If you fall within specified demographic for vaccination, you can get vaccinated under the following conditions: you do not have to pay for the vaccination service if you are covered by compulsory health insurance. If you are not insured, you must pay for the service in accordance with the procedure laid down by the head of the health care institution that provides the vaccination.
You fall within specified demographic for vaccination under the following conditions:
- you have compulsory health insurance (you can check whether you are insured HERE) (this group also includes foreigners, foreigners granted temporary protection in the Republic of Lithuania, individuals under 18 years of age, or beneficiaries of pensions under the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania: old-age pensions, incapacity for work pensions, or disability pensions, or beneficiaries of social assistance compensations, who have reached the retirement age under the Law of the Republic on Social Insurance Pensions, or who have been recognised as having lost 60 per cent or more of their working capacity, or beneficiaries of old-age pensions or disability pensions under the legislation of the country from which those individuals fled and have been granted temporary protection, or those recognised as persons with disability under the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania or of the country from which those individuals fled and have been granted temporary protection);
- you are entitled to personal healthcare services covered from the state budget (this group includes foreigners who have applied for asylum in the Republic of Lithuania, foreigners who have been granted temporary protection in the Republic of Lithuania, and foreigners entitled to temporary protection, until the adoption of the decision on granting (not granting) temporary protection, but not longer than for the period of temporary protection; foreigners granted a temporary residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania on the grounds referred to in Article 40(1)(8) of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Legal Status of Aliens; foreigners who have illegally crossed the border of the Republic of Lithuania; foreigners residents of a foreign country that is a centre of an armed conflict, as a result of which the Republic of Lithuania has declared a state of emergency or emergency and who have fled that foreign country to the Republic of Lithuania);
- you have declared your place of residence:
- citizens of the Republic of Lithuania, born and residing in the Republic of Lithuania, those who have come to live in the Republic of Lithuania for a period longer than 183 days per year, or those changing their place of residence in the Republic of Lithuania;
- citizens of the Member States of the European Union or of the Member States of the European Free Trade Association and their family members who have come to the Republic of Lithuania for more than 3 months in a six-month period and who have been entitled to reside in the Republic of Lithuania, or those changing their place of residence in the Republic of Lithuania;
- other foreign nationals and stateless individuals who hold a document granting the right to reside in the Republic of Lithuania, and who have come to live in the Republic of Lithuania or are changing their place of residence within the Republic of Lithuania.
- those who officially declared their place of residence for a designated duration or were registered in the roster of individuals who have not declared their place of residence for a designated duration, subsequent to the culmination of said duration;
- those accredited and residing in Lithuania;
- those holding a national visa;
- others required to be vaccinated by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.
